CON (Certificate of Need) restrictions do not apply to the Mobile Unit. States with these restrictions are AL, AK, CT, DE, GA, HI, IA, KY, ME, MA, MI, MS, MO, NH, NY, NC, RI, SC, TN, VT, VA, WV, DC
Any hospital or clinic currently without a radiation oncology center can now have at least a partial one. This can be the start of a full fledged turn-key center or
a niche market or just a way to keep more patients within your reach and to reach out to more patients. In addition you can provide uninterrupted treatment for your
patients should your center be under construction or renovation.
